Happy 2017, friends! I say this every year, but I mean it this time: I am going to get this blog back up and running. For the first time since 2011, I have no distractions or excuses. No pregnancies, no newborns, no construction, no moving, no outside-the-home job. I’m thankful that I’ve even able to squeeze in semi-regular crafting time over the past 5 years, but now I’m going to make time to write about it again.
I have a lot to write about. Besides the new house (and new craft room) I also have a new sewing machine and serger that I’ve been having lots of fun with. My daughter, who will be five (five!) this month, is showing more and more interest in crafting, and the two-year-old is dangerously fascinated with markers.
Oops.
Anyway, I’m looking forward to a year of crafty goodness, and I can’t wait to share it.
