Distress Marker Watercolor Background

I love sunsets. Is there anything more beautiful than an open field just before dusk, when the sky is bright orange and the landscape is cast into shadow? It’s a view that I’ve tried to capture more than a few times.

I think I finally got it right.

This background is so simple. Just use your Distress Markers to layer stripes of color on an acrylic block, spray liberally with Glimmer Mist, and drop a piece of watercolor paper on top. It comes out different every time, but it’s always beautiful.

I’ll have to make a video.

Here you can sortof make out the shimmery effect of the Glimmer Mist. I almost always substitute Glimmer Mist for water (in art, not in cooking) because I love that little extra sparkle.
