Memory Box Halloween Card

Christy Copics, Ink & Paper, Stamping Techniques 9 Comments

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays, and Memory Box is one of my favorite stamp and die manufacturers. So you can imagine how excited I was when MLO got their whole Halloween line a couple weeks ago. It’s really too bad people don’t send Halloween cards the way they send Christmas cards, because I would be buying all of the things.

I made this little card out of the coordinating Great Pumpkin stamp and die (you know how I love it when my dies match my stamps). This pumpkin is big enough for a standard 4×5.5 inch card, but I decided to slice off the bottom and put it on a littler card.

And also make a matching envelope.

I used Copics (YR27 and 14, along with the Colorless blender) to give a little bit of depth to them. I love this trick for stamping on colored paper. It’s lots faster than coloring the whole pumpkin, but you still get some nice shading.

The background paper and sentiment stamp are also from Memory Box. They have everything!
