Three ATCs

I’m back! It has been a long 3 weeks. Parts were amazing, parts were awful, parts were very happy, and parts were very sad. I will recap most, if not all of it very soon, but for now I’m scrambling to get ready to leave again in 3 days (did Thanksgiving sneak up on anyone else?) and I have CRAFTS.

I made these babies for tomorrow’s make and take at Memories Live On. We’re showcasing Tim Holtz mini embossing folders and Kraft Core paper. I also used some Distress Ink and Paint Dabbers, just for fun.

It has been awhile since I’ve made ATCs. I never really know what to do with them, so I usually stick to cards. But, they do make place cards and gift tags, so if ever there were a time to make them, this is it. The size also helps keep them nice and simple. Each of these was just a matter of embossing, sanding, painting and distressing.

I think the snowflake is my favorite. I love making “snow” with the white paint dabber, and I love how the heavy coat of white looks around a distressed edge.

Now I’m off to deal with 3 suitcases full of laundry, because my grandmother’s motto (“Everything has a place, everything in its place”) is haunting me…
