I’m baaack!

I had a lovely almost-two-weeks off, and brought back a not-so-lovely summer cold as a souvenir.

I didn’t manage to do much crafting while I was gone, but I did do quite a bit of coloring. Most of that, of course, was during my Copic Intermediate Certification class. I had so much fun, and Debbie Olson is an amazing instructor. I definitely learned some great stuff that I can’t wait to share in my upcoming classes.

I had hoped to have some time while I was back home to catch up on some cards, but my days were so packed with visits to old friends, shopping trips with mom, and yes, sleeping, that I just never found the time.

I’m way behind on my TSB posts, which is a shame because I have so many cute images I’ve been dying to color. I managed to whip up this little beauty today using the Daffodil digi, which is one of my very favorites. Tracey has done a lot of flowers in the last few weeks and I can’t get enough of them.

The card is small (3 inches by 4 inches), which is perfect for a gift bag. I tend to turn all of my white paper scraps into card backs, so I love when I have nice simple images that I can use with them.

I want to say the paper is from American Crafts, but it came from my scrap pile so I can’t be sure. I used YG03, 07 and 17 for the leaves and Y000, 11, 13, and 15 for the flower. The background is inked with Broken China.
