I made this clean and simple card to represent the opposite of my life right now.

I’m coming to the realization that my supply collection is outgrowing my craft room. There’s only one solution: we have to move. Seriously, I haven’t seen the surface of my desk in over a week. The same was true for my floor until I (mostly) remedied that this morning.

It’s giving me palpitations, but it is a force that will not be stopped. The mess grows exponentially in relation to my to-do list, which of course is inversely proportional to the amount of time I have to spend cleaning up after myself.

Are you appropriately stressed out yet? Here’s what’s going to happen. I’m going to spend the next hour sorting my 4-inch high stack of white paper scraps (you read that right), then anything left on the desk is getting swept to the floor so I can color. Priorities.

Card Recipe:
Cardstock: Pink from my stash
Stamps: Hambo Egg Pig and Pig-A-Boo
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Copics: R11, 30, 32, C50, 51, Colorless Blender
Other: 3D Dots, EK success border punch

Challenges:
Little Red Wagon: Animals
Stars and Stamps: Any Occasion

I love your card, had to giggle! Your craft room mess is taking over… I think we can all relate – quick run! :) Thanks for playing in our Any Occasion card challenge at Operation Write Home!

Ah, I love your card. How cute. I made myself a promise to give myself time to clean up before I left my craft area. I now go in every morning to a clean work table. Good luck on finding your work area.

Reading your post, I was thinking what the mathematical formula would be (mess – space divided by time?)… and then I remembered that I hate math, so I quit thinking. I just cleaned off MY stamp desk today, and now I don't want to make anything and mess it up again.

Anyway… I LOVE your card! So clean & simple! Perfect colored paper for it too. :)

I clean up my workspace every time I start to make a card, and as soon as I'm done, it needs cleaning up all over again. Don't waste your time! Just make cards because this one is fabulous!

Adorable! I love the simplicity and the PINK! We must be on a ham roll, because I ALSO cleaned off my desk today – sent Monica a picture of "before" so she wouldn't feel bad! HA!
