Hambo Hoedown "Kickoff" Challenge

Christy Uncategorized 11 Comments

It’s finally here! This is the inaugural week of the Hambo Stamps challenge blog, the Hambo Hoedown. That means I finally get the share the card that I gave you a peek at last Friday.

Since this is the kickoff challenge, and everyone’s getting geared up for the Super Bowl, the theme of the week is football!

I laughed out loud the first time I saw this stamp, and not just because it’s so cute. Both my sister and my sister-in-law are huge Steelers fans, so I just knew this image would make a great card for either one of them. So I knew from the beginning my main colors would be black and gold.

The inside of the card says “I’m bowled over.” I know, punny. I must have been channeling my dad when I came up with it. With Valentine’s Day coming up, this would be the perfect card for the spouse of a Steelers fan. Come to think of it, my brother and sister-in-law are newlyweds (*cough* hint, hint, Michael! *cough*).

If you’d like to participate in this challenge (and get the adorable Football Girl digi stamp for FREE), head over to the Hambo Hoedown now!
