Today I went to the mall for the first time in at least six months. In fact, it’s been so long I can’t actually remember the last time I was there.
I used to love the mall. Of course, I used to be a teenager. One of the benefits of not having an office job is being able to do your Christmas shopping while everyone else is at work. It was blissfully uncrowded. That said, it still wasn’t what you’d call a fun experience. The good news is that I did get about half of my shopping done, and the other half doesn’t require me to go back. I also bought 2 new sweaters and a small pile of makeup for me. The sweaters are only the second and third articles of clothing I’ve bought for myself since my wedding (weird, right? My wardrobe is in serious need of an overhaul). The bad news is that Macys no longer carries my china pattern, so the few pieces I still don’t have I’ll have to get directly from the manufacturer.
The great news is that I got an email telling me my Pazzles has been shipped and should be here on Thursday. I already have a spot cleared out for it. Next weeks New Toy Tuesday is going to be awesome.
As far as new crafty stuff, I got a pack of full sheets of Be Creative tape, so I’m no longer limited to glittering things 2.5 inches wide. Oh, the possibilities. I’ve also added to my collection of alcohol inks, and a pack of Tim Holtz Tissue Tape, which is a major ingredient in most of the 12 Tags of Christmas.
I don’t have any pictures of stuff because I’m a big fat bum, but as a consolation prize I’ll share a couple pictures of paradise.
