Orange

Christy Copics, Ink & Paper 89 Comments

When I saw that the latest challenge over at Copic Creations was Orange, I was inspired immediately. Not, as I figure most people were, by pumpkins or fall leaves or any of those normal images that people think of in October.

When you bleed orange, your mind doesn’t quite work the same as everyone else’s.

I had to draw Otto, because according to Google there’s not a single uncolored line drawing of him on the entire internet. There are a lot of people who apparently name their boobs Otto, however.

I nearly gave up on him when my YR09 decided to drip right on his right armpit. I ended up managing to blend most of it out, but thanks to my bad photography skills and worse lighting, it shows up more in the pictures than it does in person.

It should also be noted that the orange paper isn’t nearly as fluorescent as it seems. I need to start getting my work done before nightfall.

The hand cut letters are a testament to how badly I need a Pazzles (still hinting).

So, you may ask, what can I use this card for? Really the question is what CAN’T you use this card for. Graduation, a kickass NCAA win, Halloween, Christmas, baby shower, wedding; Otto is always appropriate.
